Our online services ensure each and every ad is flawless when it arrives at it's destination publication, allowing them to get on with the job of creative, while we take care of production.

PREFLIGHTING

When you preflight an ad with Adsend it goes under the microscope for an extensive series of probing tests to ensure everything is as it should be, including file creator, ink weight/density, percentage, color space and image resolution.

Adsend then provides you a full report outlining any key issues found with your file and offers the best solutions to resolve them. You can then simply upload a new file after taking the recommended steps to rectify the problem, or invoke Adsend's correction service to resolve any issues.

AUTOMATED & MANUAL CORRECTIONS

Adsend is so clever that when it finds a serious error, it won't allow the file to be sent until it's fixed, by you or by Adsend itself (that's right - if you choose to, Adsend will actually correct certain errors for you automatically!). That's good for publishers and good for you because we know you really do want your hard work to look exactly the way you planned it to. This includes autotrim, a brilliant Adsend feature that ensures trim, type and bleed are correct as specified by the publisher to make certain your ad is sized perfectly and fit for publication.

Upon your request Adsend also offers a range of services to repair a failed file. Charges may apply depending on the help required and membership type. Just contact Adsend Client Service for pricing details, and rest assured we only correct files once we get your OK to do so.

Once the Ad is corrected and Adsend notifies you the Ad meets the publication specifications, you simply click to approve and send onto the publisher.

CROPPING

If your ad is larger than the trim size specified by the target publication, Adsend will alert you after the preflighting process is complete and give you the option to resize it using our advanced cropping tool. The tool will generate a preview of your ad, complete with guides for trim, type and bleed and enable you to reposition it in any direction and resize the width and depth separately, or in locked aspect ratio.

CERTIFIED SOFT PROOFING

CSP allows you to view your print ad with a visual simulation of what your ad should look like when it appears in the chosen publication. Even better, you can create a calibrated soft proof of any press ad and deliver it in just two easy steps. Once your ad has successfully passed Adsend's intensive preflight check, you will be given an option to view and approve your soft proof. From there it's ready to be delivered directly to the publisher.

PRESS CONVERSION

Nobody takes colour more seriously than Adsend, which is why we have developed a range of services that make colour management easy and precise.

Adsend Press Conversion is one of our optional services that provides agencies and advertisers the tools and management functionality to ensure even the most stringent colour requirements, assisting in maintaining colour consistency for every ad ... and the same ad inserted in multiple publications. What's more, it does it all at a fraction of the cost of maintaining specialist colour experts and equipment in-house.

Implementing Adsend Press Conversion involves working with one of our dedicated colour experts to adapt your workflow to the correct ISO print standard, enabling you to output all your colour ads with a FOGRA39L profile. Adsend is then able to automatically convert each ad to the correct output profile for any given publication.

BOOKING INTEGRATION

Adsend offers seamless integration that enables publishers to share booking insertions directly with agencies, thus avoiding the need to rekey information.

Booking insertions can be shared as a URL as part of the booking confirmation and sent by at the time the booking is made. Alternatively, booking insertions can be accessed directly from via the agency account within Adsend.

ADSPEC

Adspec gives you access to the Adsend database of over 17,000 global titles, including complete mechanical & preflight specs and colour information, allowing you to harvest this data to feed your internal production system and drive your workflow.
